Police have stepped up their search for North Ayrshire man Martin McGettigan, 46, who has been missing for more than a week.
They revealed today that there had now been a confirmed sighting of Martin in Irvine High Street on August 17 and released a new photo of him.
Yesterday, (Wednesday) North Ayrshire Police appealed for information about Martin, who they said at that point had not been seen since Monday, August 14, when he was spotted in the New Street area of Stevenston.
A force spokesperson said: "Police in North Ayrshire are asking the public for any information following Martin McGettigan being reported missing."
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 and quote incident number 1470 of August 21, 2023.
