Barrmill's Jolly Beggars Burns Club will kick off its new season next month.

And the club will also be hosting two concerts later in the year in the Geisland Concert Hall.

The first meeting will be held on Monday, September 4 at 7.30pm in Beith Masonic Hall (Lower lounge).

The Beggars are delighted to welcome Archie Chalmers of Stewarton as their guest speakler, who takes as his subject: Gentleman James Ogilvie Fairlie Esq. All welcome.

The first concert features a very welcome return visit by the Irvine and Dreghorn Band, currently champion of Scotland in its section.

The band will be supported by famous thespians – the Beith Theatre Group choir.  

This takes place at Geilsland Concert Hall at 2pm on Sunday, October 1. The second performance to delight and inspire is Christmas-themed featuring the multi-talented Garnock Valley Community Band supported by the joint choirs of Beith and Gateside Primary Schools.  

This festive concert also takes place at Geilsland Concert Hall at 2pm on Sunday, December 10.
