The team from Ardrossan Coastguard paid a visit to the Trindlemoss Day Opportunities team in Irvine to showcase their work.
Trindlemoss promotes health, wellbeing and daily living skills for individuals with a learning disability - and the Coastguard visit was much appreciated by all.
They heard all about how the Ardrossan Coastguard Search and Rescue team were on call 24 hours a day all year round to deal with emergencies along the coastline.
They were shown some of the equipment used on search and rescue missions and were delighted to find out all about the team's work.
