The summer holidays may have just finished, but many parents will already be looking towards the next time their youngsters are off.

The next set of school holidays vary across East, South and North Ayrshire, but here is everything you need to know about when pupils are next off...

NORTH AYRSHIRE

In North Ayrshire, pupils next break off for the October holidays, with a week-long break from school to look forward to. 

Pupils will be off school from October 16 to 20, with no in-service day for staff the following week. 

For schools on Arran, pupils are off for two whole weeks, from October 9 to 20 inclusive. 

 

EAST AYRSHIRE

In East Ayrshire, some pupils will be off for a local Ayr holiday for the Gold Cup from September 22 to 25. Pupils will return to school on Tuesday September 26.

All pupils in East Ayrshire will also be off for a week from October 16 to 20, with an additional in-service day on Monday October 23.

 

SOUTH AYRSHIRE

In South Ayrshire, all schools will be closed from September 22 to 25, with pupils returning on Tuesday September 26. 

Pupils in South Ayrshire will also be off for a week from October 16 to 20, with an additional in-service day on Monday October 23, before returning to school the following day.
