Youngsters enjoyed a free Nautical Numbers Family Fun Morning at Eglinton Country Park on Saturday, as part of Maths Week Scotland.
The event was organised by the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine.
Aimed mostly at children aged between three and 12, the visitors enjoyed fun games, a recyclable boat building challenge, creative activities and experiencde the Museum’s 3D collection remotely using VR goggles in the park's Racquet Hall.
As well as free snacks, families were presented with home goody bags packed with ideas for maths-based play.
Families could also explore Eglinton Park including a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) trail made by North Ayrshire Council’s Countryside Rangers and STEM Education Team.
