Celebrations are being planned for the 50th anniversary of Ardrossan Castle being named a Scheduled Monument of National Importance
The castle officially became a scheduled monument on December 31, 1973.
And the Ardrossan Castle Heritage Society will be helding a series of events throughout 2024 to mark the big occasion.
The group's annual general meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, November 7 2023 at Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club and it will be followed by a public forum to discuss and plan the events to mark the anniversary.
They are looking for input from across the community and everyone is welcome to join them.
