A SALTCOATS man has been granted bail as he awaits sentence - for an offence he committed while out on bail.
Alan Troy, 55, admitted stealing a quantity of food items from Aldi on East Road in Irvine on May 9 this year.
The offence was aggravated due to being committed while Troy, of Old Raise Road, was out on bail granted only the month before.
Troy was once again granted bail during a brief hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court - where the original bail order was imposed - and will return to court for sentencing at a later date.
