One person has been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a bus in Stevenston.
The incident happened just after 8.30am on Monday, October 23, in the Glencairn Street area.
Police have said that a motorist was also issued with a fixed penalty notice as a result of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Monday, October 23, police received a report of a crash between a bus and a Toyota car in the Glencairn Street area of Stevenston.
“One person was taken to hospital as a precaution and one motorist was issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with road traffic offences.
“The road was closed to allow for recovery to be completed.”
