A bus shelter was vandalised in North Ayrshire last night - and council workers have been called in to clean up the mess.
Members of the public reported that graffiti had been daubed on the bus shelter in West Kilbride.
The damage was spotted at 11pm on Monday at the shelter in Well Street, at the Overton Crescent junction, which is used by passengers waiting for the Stagecoach 585 and 585A services.
North Coast Conservative councillor Todd Ferguson branded the vandalism 'unacceptable' - and thanked constituents for notifying him - and has asked North Ayrshire Council to clean up the graffiti at the bus stop.
If you observe any vandalism taking place, contact police on 101.
