A SALTCOATS man is awaiting his fate after admitting he threatened his ex-partner with violence.
John Anderson, 35, made the admission when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Anderson, of Kerr Avenue in Saltcoats, pleaded guilty to one charge in relation to an incident near Donaldson Avenue in Stevenston on August 4 this year.
He admitted that he acted in a threatening and abusive manner towards his ex-partner and another man by threatening them with violence and uttering offensive remarks.
Court papers describing the incident in more detail describe how Anderson caused his ex to fall by driving off in a vehicle while he knew she was leaning on it.
Sentencing was deferred for background reports; Anderson will return to court for sentencing later this year.
