AN ARDROSSAN man has admitted assaulting his partner and a 13-year-old girl.
Derek Paterson pleaded guilty to two charges when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
Court papers describing both charges explain how the 39-year-old, of Burns Terrace in Ardrossan, assaulted the pair on September 21 of this year.
The first charge states that he seized his partner on the body and forced her wrists backwards.
According to the terms of the second charge, he assaulted the 13-year-old by pushing her on the body, causing her to strike a cupboard.
Sentencing was deferred for background reports, and Paterson will return to court for sentencing next year.
