A Reclaim The Night walk will be held in Saltcoats tonight to raise awareness of violence against women.
The aim of the walk is to raise awareness about the dangers to women and girls from sexual violence and to promote a safer environment for women and girls to walk without fear after dark.
Organised by North Ayrshire's Violence Against Women Partnership, the walk will depart from the Women's Aid Hub in Vernon Street at 5.15pm, tonight, Tuesday, December 5. It will arrive back at the Hub around 6.45pm.
The organisers said: "Join us as we 'shine a light' on domestic abuse. Glowsticks and LED candles will be provided. It will be followed by soup, rolls, tea coffee and cake."
All are welcome to join in.
