The gangway at Ardrossan harbour is out of action following a technical fault.
Ferry operator CalMac has confirmed that the Passenger Access System at the port has developed an issue and will be out of action until Friday at the earliest.
The PAS, or gangway, is used by passengers to access the vessel from the quayside.

Due to a further intermittent fault which requires investigation by electrical contractors, the Passenger Access System is currently unavailable for use.
A further update will be provided tomorrow (Friday 8th December).
