OLDER residents in Saltcoats have been getting into the seasonal spirit at a local welfare group's Christmas lunches.

Everyone tucked into some fantastic fare at the events held in Saltcoats Labour Club last week.
And there were some special treats and pressies - as well as a few unexpected guests to entertain the OAPs.
