SIX men have been arrested in connection with drugs offences in Stevenston.
It follows reports of a heavy police presence this afternoon around the Ardeer industrial estate.
Eyewitnesses state that a number of police vehicles, officers, dogs and even a force helicopter were seen attending the area earlier today, Friday December 15.
Police Scotland have since confirmed that arrests have been made after they swooped at a premises around the South Ring Road.
A police spokesperson said: “Six men have been arrested in connection with drugs offences after officers attended at a premises on South Ring Road, Stevenson on Friday, December 15, 2023.
“Enquiries are ongoing."
