The Royal British Legion Scotland's Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston branch held a very suiccessful Christmas dance recently - which included a special tribute to their Colour Bearers and piper Ciaran.
Branch President Paul Coffey said: "We took the opportunity to thank our hard working Colour Bearers and Ciaran, who have paraded and played at many funerals, events, commemorations and celebrations sometimes at very short notice."
He also wished the people of the Three Towns a Happy Christmas and New Year and thanked them for their incredible support for the Legion branch over the past 12 months.
Mr Coffey added: "Thanks to all the support we are now attracting we are now helping directly and indirectly more veterans and their families than we ever have, as far as I am aware."
