Ferry services to Arran are set to resume today - tentatively at least.
With sailings having been cancelled over the last couple of days due to high winds, CalMac have just announced that crossings will restart with the 4.40pm service from Brodick to Ardrossan.
The ferry firm said there had been a "slight moderation in weather conditions" but warned it could be the only attempted crossing of the day.
A spokesperson said on their website: "Berthing is not guaranteed in Ardrossan, and if unsuccessful the vessel will need to return to Brodick."
Keep checking the CalMac website - and the Herald's - for the latest updates.
