Pupils returned to Dalry Primary School today (Friday) after heating problems were fixed.
The youngsters were sent home from school on Wednesday (January 17) due to major boiler issues at the school.
North Ayrshire Council have no confirmed the issue has been sorted and the primary school is back open for business.
The school boiler problem had also affected residents of the Watt Gardens sheltered housing complex, Burns Club Gardens and the nearby housing office.
Dalry was the second local school to close due to heating issues this week, following Stevenston's Glencairn Primary being forced to shut on Monday.
