North Ayrshire Council has revealed brown garden waste bins will finally be emptied tomorrow.
There had been complaints about a lack of brown bin collections across many towns since the festive period.
But the council confirmed today: "Brown bins in the following areas will be collected tomorrow, Saturday, January 20, 2024: Dreghorn, Kilwinning (Pennyburn), Stevenston, Saltcoats, Ardrossan, Irvine and Beith."
They added: "Blue bins in Whitehirst Park not collected today will be collected tomorrow, Saturday January 20, 2024."
Remember and get your brown bins out tonight folks - just in case the refuse collection team come early.
