The Veterans Breakfast Club in Saltcoats is looking for more members - and volunteers.
You don't have to be a veteran to attend or help out at the friendly group, which covers all of North Ayrshire and meets each Monday at 9am in the Cafe Melbourne in Saltcoats.
The club is run jointly by the Saltcoats, Ardrossan & Stevenston Branch of Legion Scotland and Saltcoats Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club.
It provides help and support to veterans and their familes in the Three Towns and across North Ayrshire.
Formed in 2017 by a handful of veterans who decided to meet regularly at the town’s Melbourne Café, the club has gone from strength to strength and now provides a much-needed place for a relaxed get-together and plenty of laughs.
Last year, the club won an Age Scotland award for Best Partnership Working.
