Members of the 3rd Ardrossan Guides have been enjoying personal safety lessons.
The group of girls aged 10-13, accompanied by Guide Leader Maggie Agnew and young leader Amy, 16, have now paid two visits to Ardrossan's Scottish Centre for Personal Safety.
Founder Alan Bell and his assistants Claire and Jade taught them how to defend themselves from bullies or attacks.
And as these pictures show, the girls learned a whole lot about personal safety from the SCPS team and had a great time putting their moves into action.
Guide leader Maggie said: "The girls learned how to defend themselves against bullies or attacks from strangers in a safe and constructive manner.
"I feel this is vitally important to the girl who attend guides as they are at an age where they are allowed to walk to school on their own or go out with friends.
"The girls had a great time and asked lots of questions."
The group currenty have spaces for girls aged between 10 and 14. To find out more visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1710477405792608/?ref=share&mibextid=K35XfP
