The Ardrossan to Brodick ferry service will remain out of action today due to the weather.
CalMac confirmed the cancellations and said that the freight sailings by the MV Alfred from Troon to Brodick would also be cancelled "due to the continuing adverse weather conditions and forecast for later in the day".

They added: "As a result of the vessel being stormbound in Brodick on Monday evening, the 7am sailing from Ardrossan on Tuesday has been cancelled.
"The service will resume with the 8.20am sailing from Brodick."
