A man has been fined after pleading guilty to threatening violence and to kill in Ardrossan.
Darren Kirkland, 26, of Hillcrest Drive in Stevenston, was fined a total of £420 at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court following the incident in Ardrossan on December 9 last year.
Court documents state Kirkland was charged with "behaving in a threatening or abusive manner".
He was said to have repeatedly shouted, swore, acted in an aggressive manner, uttered threats of violence and threats to kill.
He was fined £400 with an additional victims surcharge of £20.
