A woman has been jailed after brandishing a Stanley knife in Saltcoats.
Leanne Fowley, 45, described in court papers as a prisoner at HMP Stirling, pleaded guilty to two charges when she appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Court papers state that Fowley had a Stanley knife and a quantity of Stanley blades during the incident on the town's Dockhead Street on October 3 last year.
A separate charge stated that she was shouting, swearing and brandishing a Stanley knife on the same street.
Fowley was jailed for 11 months and two weeks, with her sentence backdated to October 4.
