A Saltcoats man has pleaded guilty to carrying a potato peeler in the town.
Leon Thomson, 22, of Guthrie Road, appeared in Kilmarnock Sheriff Court in connection with the incident on September 14, 2022.
He admitted a charge of having the "offensive weapon" on the same street "without reasonable excuse or lawful authority".
Sentence was deferred until March 8, and Thomson's bail was continued.
