A THRIVING Saltcoats business is set to expand into a bigger premises in the town.

CCUS Scotland have been operating on Countess Street for the past three years offering support, repairs and accessories for a vast range of electronic goods.

Bringing over 15 years of experience to the table, the business has been a go-to for many around the local area.

In fact, many who have visited the store recently may have notice that the business was beginning to outgrow their current home.

This was something which was noted by owner George Cameron, who has now secured a larger premises in the town.

After talks with building owner Peter Watson, CCUS Scotland will be making a move into the former Gregor Watson further down the road at 1 Dockhead Street.

A lease has now been signed for the move with CCUS set to take on the historic shop which was most recently occupied by the Sofa Shack.

The move is yet to be officially made and the business will continue to operate as usual on Countess Street until that time.

Owner George explained: "Anyone that’s visited our shop over the last year or so has most likely noticed that we’ve been struggling for space.

"We recently opened talks with Peter, who owns the former Gregor Watson shop in Saltcoats, and we are thrilled to announce that we’ve found new premises.

"We are not moving quite yet as we need to get the new shop ready but as soon as we’re ready to open, we’ll let you know. Our shop at 47 Countess Street will remain open until we’ve moved.

"We can’t wait to move and I’m especially looking forward to getter a bigger work bench to carry out all your repairs."

He added: "We couldn’t have done this without all your support so we want to say thank you to every single person that’s supported us since we opened.

"Every single purchase, like, share and recommendation means a lot to us."

Up to date information on the move will be provided via Facebook at facebook.com/ccusscotland.
