Easter is upon us, meaning many will be getting ready to enjoy the first long weekend of the year.
But whether you need to do last-minute birthday shopping, find a new outfit for a night out or fancy a bite to eat, some shopping centres have altered their usual opening times.

Most will be shut on one particular day this weekend, as government rules mean stores across England and Wales larger than 280 square metres are forced to close on Easter Sunday (March 31).
Easter weekend opening times at Bradford’s shopping centres
Kirkgate Shopping Centre
Easter bank holiday weekend opening times at Kirgate Shopping Centre are as follows:
- Friday, March 29 (Good Friday): 9am-5.30pm
- Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday): Closed
- Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday): 10.30am-4.30pm
On its website, Kirgate Shopping Centre also adds some shops have different opening times, so it's important to check individual stores.
The Broadway, Bradford
Easter bank holiday weekend opening times at The Broadway are as follows:
- Friday, March 29 (Good Friday): 10am-6pm
- Saturday, March 30: 9am-7pm
- Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday): Closed
- Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday): 10am-6pm
The website adds: “The Broadway Shopping Centre will be closed on Easter Sunday, but the car park will remain open.
“Please check the opening hours of the individual stores or restaurants as these may vary.”
