A LITTER blackspot in Ardrossan has become the latest quest conquered by the Three Towns Clean Up Crew.

Over the past few years the group have made it their mission to ensure the local area is kept as pristine as possible.

The Clean Up Crew are often seen out and about in the area, but have stepped up their efforts even further in recent weeks.

Since March 15, Keep Scotland Beautiful have been running their Spring Clean campaign which encourages increased litter picking activity.

The even runs until April 28 and from beginning to end the Clean Up Crew will be doing their best to play their part.

The team's latest effort took them to a real litter blackspot between Asda and O-Geez in Ardrossan.
