A new campaign aimed at raising a million pounds for projects on Arran has launched.
The Make Arran a Million campaign is being spearheaded by The Arran Trust, and aims to help community and business projects that keep Arran's natural assets beautiful
The group is urging visitors to the island to donate just a few pounds, which will help raise the target figure in no time.
A spokesperson said: "Our goal is to raise almost a million pounds for Arran projects that will help keep our island beautiful.
"If 373,000 people donate £2.68, we can achieve this goal.
"Why 373,000 people? Well, that's the average number of visitors that Arran receives each year, but of course you don't have to have visited or even visit to donate!"
