Emergency crews are are still at the scene of a battery recycling plant fire in Kilwinning.
Firefighters are still on location at Byrehill Place as the operation to extinguish the blaze is now in its fourth day.
The fire initially broke out at the Fenix battery recycling plant at around 10pm on Monday, April 8.
In the days since the terrifying blaze took hold residents and those living in the surrounding Pennyburn area have been advised to keep their windows, doors and vents closed.
At its peak, six fire appliances and a height vehicle were sent to Byrehill Place to battle the flames.
On Thursday, April 11, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said that only two appliances remained and that the fire was now "under control" as efforts began to "dampen down" the area.
This continues to be the case for crews that are still on site with no only one engine remaining.
A SFRS spokesperson said: "We have one appliance in attendance. It is just dampening down and monitoring the temperature."
