POLICE were called to Ardrossan on Tuesday, August 6, after receiving reports raising concern for a teenage boy.
The matter was called in from a park near the South Crescent Road area of the town.
Further details on the nature of the concerns raised were not provided however the emergency service confirmed that officers attended the area to provide advice and assistance.
They added that, following this, it was found that no crime had taken place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Tuesday, August 6, we were called to park on South Crescent Road, Ardrossan after concern was raised for a teenage boy in the park.
"Officers attended and provided advice and assistance.
"No crime had taken place."
