UPDATED: Missing woman Shaleena Hunt has now been found by police officers.
Shaleena, who lived in Glasgow but was known to frequent Ardrossan, is said to be safe and well.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Shaleena Hunt, who was reported missing from the Pollokshields area of Glasgow, has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
Police have asked the public for help in finding a missing woman who is known to frequent Ardrossan.
Shaleena Hunt, 37, has been reported missing from the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. She was last seen around 5pm on Wednesday, August 7.
She is described as 5ft 2ins in height and of slim build with brown hair. When she was last seen she was wearing a black jacket, black and white trousers and dress, and white Nike trainers.
Shaleena is known to travel to the Ardrossan, East Kilbride and Dunfermline areas
Inspector Fraser Campbell said: “It is completely out of character for Shaleena not to keep in close contact with those she knows.
“We are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety and wellbeing. Searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace her as soon as possible to ensure that she is safe and well.
“I urge anyone who has seen her or who has any information regarding her whereabouts to please contact 101 quoting reference number 3880 of 8 August.”
