A MAN has been taken to hospital following a reported serious assault in Stevenston.
Police were called to the alleged incident on Garven Road in the early hours of Saturday, August 17.
Officers say that, after attending, a 37-year-old man was found injured and was taken to hospital to be treated.
They added that further enquiries into the incident are now ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.30am on Saturday, August 17, 2024, we received a report of a 37-year-old man seriously assaulted on Garven Road, Stevenston.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment. Police enquiries are ongoing."
