The International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight returned to the town's Low Green on Friday night to thrill the tens of thousands who turned out to witness the series of displays.
Among the favourites on the night were the RAF Falcons parachute display team, who kicked off proceedings by landing in the middle of the green, trailing smoke.
Other popular aircraft which displayed along the seafront were the Lancaster bomber and the ever-exciting RAF Typhoon, which showcased its awesome power.
Alongside the displays, there was plenty to do for all the family with a large funfair as well as stalls and activities scattered around the Low Green.
