RESTAURANTS across Scotland have been named among the best in the UK by a prestigious national food award.
The Good Food Guide assessed eateries across the country to determine the best local joints in several British nations and regions.
Including spots in major cities like Glasgow and smaller towns like Melrose, the length and breadth of the country are represented.

"An unprecedented 60,000 votes were cast, leaving the Guide’s team of expert inspectors the tasty task of anonymously eating in a vast number of restaurants across the country.
