HI everyone and welcome to this week’s 3TFM news column which as always is brought to you in association with the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald.
Hope you have all had a pleasant week and are enjoying the glorious weather which we have recently had.

On Monday just gone, local singer Amanda Jean was a guest on Shaz De Silva’s “The Monday Mix” show which is broadcast every Monday evening between 7-9pm.

Shaz was chatting with Amanda Jean about her recent single “Girls Night Out” (due for release on the June 11) and the follow-up single to be “Memory Box” (due for release on June 22).

Amanda spoke of her love for singing, how and why she ended up writing her own material, what gives her inspiration to write a song, who are her musical influences and what her plans are for the future.
3TFM were also privileged to be the first UK radio station to play the tracks which are now available to download from iTunes on the dates previously mentioned.

It’s always a pleasure to have guests into our studios, more so if they are local and we at 3TFM look forward to supporting and following Amanda Jean’s career with great enthusiasm and pleasure.

Next Monday at 3pm on the Community Sounds show Iain Everington’s guests will be organisers of the “Ardrossan Castle Carnival” which is a free, family fun event taking place on Saturday, June 18 at Ardrossan Castle Hill.
It’s the first time an event of this nature has taken place and will include Horse Jousting, Archery, Birds of Prey, Musket Firing, Storytelling and lots more. So until next week’s column, do look after yourselves and tell everyone you know about us.

Keep your radio tuned into 103.1fm.
