AMBITIOUS Ardrossan Winton Rovers boss Stevie Wilson is looking for more of the same from his team after watching them rack up their biggest victory of the season.

Winton hammered Larkhall Thistle 5-0 to leave them sixth in League One, with four wins.

He said: “It was a very good performance, could have had more goals and it was a great display from Del Kennedy, who got two goals.

“We dominated the match and are six points off the top but I don’t pay any attention to league tables at this stage in the season.

“Now we’re take it a game at a time and we’re away to Kello Rovers on Saturday. It’s a tricky place go to but we’re looking for a win and that’s four victories in the last six games which is a good record. The squad is settling down, we have quite a new faces.”

Beith assistant manager Stevie Convery was delighted to see his team rack up a third win in succession.

They defeated Rutherglen Glencairn 2-0 away and now host a revitalised Kilwinning Rangers on Saturday.

Convery said: “We played well and are on a good run after a disappointing start to the season.

“Kilwinning have had only one defeat and started well.

“We have a poor record against them - we kmnow they beat them in the Sottish Cup and we want to change that, we are at home and looking to take the three points.”
