BATTLING Bankies blasted back from behind to claim a point at a rainy, windswept Cambusdoon Sports Club.

Bankies scored when Liam Fitzsimmons headed home from 12 yards.

Vics levelled three minutes after the break with a diving header from 12 yards by Allan McKelvie.

Bankies were unlucky in 50 minutes when a 12-yard shot from Jordan Ryan was well saved by Watson.

Vics came close in 64 minutes when Brandon McEvoy shot across the face of goal from 12 yards.

The visitors went ahead from the penalty spot in 70 minutes when Logan Stevenson netted after a foul inside the box on the Trialist no.17.

Vics spurned a good chance five minutes later when Stevenson shot over the bar from 25 yards.

In 81 minutes home player Cammy Ross shot across the face of goal from 10 yards.

However we had a final twist in the tale two minutes into injury-time when A strong Gavin Todd shot from the edge of the box deflected off Ryan and spun low into the bottom corner of the net.
