Kilbirnie Ladeside co-manager Thomas Molloy praised the club’s fans as the best in the league after their 0-0 draw with Beith at the weekend.

On the pitch, it was a pretty stale affair as both sides cancelled each other out for a point a piece in the derby match.

However off it, both sets of fans were giving it there all to will their teams onto victory.

Despite the Blasties lowly league position their fans were in loud voice once again at Valefield Park as their team picked up another point on their road to avoiding relegation from the Premier Division.

Speaking to the Herald, Molloy said: “The fans were unbelievable at the weekend.

“I cannot speak highly enough of them, they were in from 12.30pm making noise.

“The backing they gave us was phenomenal and they are second to none at our level.

“I am sure we are the envy of a lot of teams with the backing we have got.

“A lot of other clubs might have more money and other things but I am sure our support is as good as anyone at our level.

“So, on behalf of myself, the management team and the players we would like to thank them for their support.”
