Now the SFRS have confirmed that two appliances were present on the street to tackle a snall blaze, though images appear to show that this was outwith the home.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Two appliances were mobilised by Operations Control at 11.55am on Friday, October 28 to Sorbie Road, Ardrossan to extinguish a small fire affecting a dwelling."
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
